Do not forget to include the following upcoming events in your diary during your stay at the Ré Island. They will amaze you through the discovery and exploration of unusual objects, rare works and simple but original activities.


Until February 26, the exhibition of the collections of the 43 museums labeled Museums of France of the former Region will be for you the opportunity to know 21 signs on some of the acquisitions carried out for 30 years. This will be at Saint-Martin in Avenue Victor Bouthillier.


Until May 14, take a trip to the Ernest Cognacq Museum to admire the masterpieces of Louis Suire and Raymond Enard. Which will show the love of these painters for the island. It is a thematic cluster around these two artists.


Throughout the year, the Quillet workshop opens its doors to the public in the artisanal village of Loix. It's a godsend to see the workshop and discover a collection of 7,000 books from the 16th to the 21st century, 5,000 comics, a collection of displays and old maps.

For music lovers, the music festival "Les 3 jours en Avril" will take place from 13 to 15 April to enjoy chamber music at the Salle des fêtes Vauban and the place de la République in Saint-Martin-de-Ré .


To please the green hands and lovers of good food, a market with plants and flavors will be at Portes-en-Ré, Place des Marais de la Prée on Saturday, April 15th.


As well as the traditional flower market that will be held on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th April at the esplanade of the Salle des fêtes, Rivedoux-Plage.
