Villa 4 bedroom Le Bois-plage-en-ré

The inclusion of Villa Polygone on this website could not be more apt. It was exactly as if we were staying in someone's own home. Andre and Babie have thought of everything, and it is in plentiful supply too - a well stocked kitchen, large fridge/freezer, plenty of comfortable pool chairs, and multiple seating areas for all weathers and every time of day. Every cupboard reveals more useful items. They were there to welcome us and see us off, and despite no common language we all got on very well. We were three couples and had equal bedrooms and a bathroom each, though the space would work well for a family with children too. At the end of the road it is quiet and private, and is literally just behind the sand dunes. That said it is also less than 10 minutes walk to Le Bois Plage with a supermarket, restaurants, bike hire, and a wonderful daily food market. A big thank you to Andre and Babie - we thoroughly enjoyed our week and have no hesitation in recommending Villa Polygone.

We had a wonderful stay at André's, a very warm welcome explaining everything and good communication before and during our stay. Very nice stay in this magnificent house even more beautiful than in the photos! The location is ideal, 2 steps from the beach and the center of Bois Plage; large heated swimming pool and quality outdoor amenities!

Great family property in a superb location. The house is very well equipped and the pool a great size - perfect both for adults and small children alike. If you want a change from the pool a wonderful and quiet stretch of the beach is literally on your doorstep. The owners are a lovely couple and a pleasure to deal with. Would thoroughly recommend staying here, and a great base to explore the beautiful island by car or bike.

We stayed at this property a couple of times several years ago, and were very happy to return as it's a lovely house in a great location - not too far from the center of Bois-Plage, and a short walk over the dunes (which are on the other side of the road) to get to the glorious beach. Very large house very well equipped and with an ideal location. Perfect for coming to several families: the common areas are large and at the same time everyone has their space and can move around without disturbing the others because each room overlooks the garden and the swimming pool. Pleasant, attentive and understanding owners. rnWe had a great stay!

We had a marvellous family holiday with 3 generations in this lovely house very close to the beach and a short walk and even shorter bike ride into Le Bois. Ideal location for exploring the island on bikes. Lots of room in the house which is very well equipped for a large group. Would highly recommend the house. Andre is very accommodating however, he does not speak English but google translate proved very useful re emails to which he was very prompt at replying to.
