Villa Chemin des prises La Couarde-sur-mer

We took 3 generations of our family aged 3-73. 19 of us in all. Without doubt it was the best decision I have ever made on a holiday booking. Eric's house has everything we could have wanted. The location close to a very good beach, both the quantity and quality of the bedrooms, the amazing games room, perfect pool and sauna and that fantastic jacuzzi which fitted us all in. The space we had for our party meant that everyone could find somewhere for themselves and always had something to do. We had not been to the island before but feel that we got lucky with La Couarde as well as with the house. Distance from house to village was less than a 10 minute bicycle ride and the markets in the village had everything we wanted. It was also an easy bike ride into St. Martin, Ars en Re and La Bois but not as busy as those. Eric gave us a great welcome, was full of advice and took us to hire bicycles. He and his family could not have done more to make sure that we had a great time. We would all love to return.

A real hidden gem on the Ile de Ré. The villa is magnificent, the decoration so incredible, everything is perfectly laid out and the facilities are top notch (swimming pools, games room, pétanque, children's area, outdoor showers, relaxation areas...); a daydream ! Impossible to forget this magical place, and happy memories for a long time. Obviously we will be back. Kudos to the owners who have made this place something unique. Melanie and Peter.

We rented Eric's villa for a 3 day weekend with friends. The villa is fantastic, nothing is missing (Swimming pool, jacuzzi, pétanque court, beach volleyball court, sauna, sound system...) and it is perfectly located. A big thank you to Eric for his welcome which was very warm. Everything is perfectly thought out, the decoration is sublime, the setting idyllic. We will return with great pleasure.

A magnificent place where everything is planned for a wonderful festive weekend with friends. Neat and warm decor, perfect equipment, indoor and outdoor games, swimming pool and jacuzzi at the top even in the storm and very comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. The owner is very responsive, considerate and accommodating. A little advice: make a "user guide" available in the house for all the equipment available, this would save time looking for how it works and disturbances! These 48 hours will remain a wonderful memory for us and our friends.

Absolutely perfect house for holidays in numbers and of any generation. We will be back with pleasure next year ...
