This house was superb! Spectacular and very modern with every convenience. The kitchen had everything a cook could want, there was plenty of space, outside and in, bathrooms for everyone, and the fabulous pool with its moveable base was able to accommodate everyone from age 2 to 70! We appreciated that there were plenty of pool toys, and the children loved the playroom. rnrnEverything worked perfectly and the house was situated, as promised, just a short walk from both the beach and the town of Rivedoux-Plage with its shops and restaurants. Thierry was charming to deal with before we arrived, and Christopher (the local agent) visited on our arrival and departure with help and advice. rnrnEveryone from three generations voted it the best vacation house ever, and we all hope to return. I’m just sorry that I can only give it five stars - it deserves more! Thank you Thierry!!

Fantastic home , fabulous for a family , we had an a brilliant stay . We really enjoyed eating outside under the covered area , 5 minutes walk to the shops where you can get all the fresh produce that you need . Beach is a short stroll away as is cycle hire . Everything you need for a perfect holiday

Ideal holiday home for large family or group very comfortable, lots of amenities, contemporary style superb swimming pool well located near the beach and small shops.rn we are planning to come back!

Thierry's house is just perfect! rnrnIt is located not far from the bridge which allows access by bus from La Rochelle or by car without necessarily having too much traffic. rnrn We were 6 couples and we had one bedroom and one bathroom per couple. rnThe common areas are very clean and welcoming and tastefully appointed. rnrnThe swimming pool is very pretty, heated and pleasant to cool off on hot days. Beach towels are also available! rnIn the house there is everything you need for 12 people! The architecture of the house as well as the cleanliness of the house made our stay just perfect. rnSheets and towels are worthy of a 5 star hotel! :) rnWe were greeted by Christopher. He took care to explain everything to us so that the stay went as well as possible. rnrnThierry was easily reachable and was always available to answer any questions. Very nice and friendly! We spent 3 nights in this magnificent house, and we come back delighted! The villa is superb, tastefully decorated, the bedrooms are spacious and there is a shower room for almost every bedroom. The living room is completely open to the outside, with the swimming pool as a central point, it is brilliant by its mechanism, for young and old. We were 14 and comfortable, for meals, or to live without stepping on each other. The villa is ideally placed to go shopping on foot and by bike, a nice little market, a bakery with very very good artisan bread (a treat with the oysters!). As for the follow-up, whether by Mr Bernard, the website manager, or by Thierry the owner, everything was perfect! Thierry is very attentive, concerned that our stay is going well and very attentive. We feel that he loves this house and that he is committed to making the guests feel at home there. Go with your eyes closed, and the magic will operate as soon as you pass through the door! The island of light is a magnificent discovery!
